The Thing With Non-Violence...  Peace Keepers and Piece Takers  4 min read A famous messiah once proclaimed, ‘ He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword .’ We all know the phrase, along with his calls for peace, like ‘turn the other cheek.’ Yet, paradoxically, his apostles met violent deaths. That outcome is the point of this post. Yes, so it was faith and not the taking up of arms that led to so many brutal endings. The early brand of spiritual pacifism ignited societal persecution against Christianity, but also other similar non-violent ideologies.  Those scripture-based beliefs and philosophies were not common among the Germanic Pagan tribes, who in contrast, valued loyalty to their warlord, bravery in combat , and vengeance, for example. Piety to them was martial discipline and defending their people. They embraced war and viewed readiness to fight as a deterrent. These people also enjoyed what money could bring instead of denying it.  It is strange how Ch...

How Can They Reform The UK if Reform Hasn't Properly Formed?

Reform UK: That Tightrope of Unity

4 min read

British politics is a crazy game of bouncy castle Jenga! Reform UK is shouldering the burden of maintaining party standards while the animals of the zoo hurl their own faeces at them. The party — currently in its own rocky training montage — has reached the top of those steps, arms raised, real contenders! They have become the champion of the only good cause and they strive for broader support!

Reform and The Right

Nothing is perfect, except for maybe our daydreams, or a cracking sunday roast dinner. Nigel Farage is human; not infallible! There was some blowback after Richard Tice publicly distanced the party from Tommy Robinson and those loyal to him. To be fair, most of us could see the move was about preventing controversy and keeping as many moderate people on board as possible. Sensible, right? I'm not so sure.

After 'Pain in the Rear Keir' cracked down on anti-immigration protestors, arrested innocent people and demonising their reasoning as 'Far-Right,' creating an ugly stigma the country's happiness index went apeshit. There was a clear and present danger to smear the party. The country has been unstable. We've seen pro-immigration crowds hunting down Reform UK’s offices, left-wing thugs throw things like concrete, and milkshake at Nigel Farage before loopy Labour started to release criminals and arrest pensioners. Excluding Tommy was something Farage and Starmer have in common.

Keeping that essential political broad support would have been like herding cats in a tornado for these people. The support for Reform UK always had to come from the bottom up because it's about us, the people—unless you're Tommy Robinson, or anyone of his circle. The final omen of the nations madness came when the toolmaker's son admitted immigration was too high! Starmer should rightfully have pushed a glowing orange iron on his own butt-cheek and branded himself Far-right! He could have invited Farage out for a pint.

Tommy Robinson’s Response

The YouTubing right discontent at Reform UK for alienating 'their people' left me feeling disappointed. As if the need for personal credit was sabotaging the mission we all want realised. Paul Thorpe, YouTuber and watch dealer supporter and friend of Robinson, however, finally showed a change of heart on GB News; uniting the right was once again the priority for challenging the political establishment, Yay! Give me strength! People are quite right to consider the self defeat of in-fighting. Why derail this revolutionary motion and watch the country's political system become a red woke nightmare? Simple, they all thought Farage was politically pandering, changing. So did Elon Musk.

Dan Wootton’s Support for Farage

In a GB News interview, Dan Wootton defended Nigel Farage, praising his character and cautious leadership, a compelling character always under scrutiny. Wootton stressed that Farage’s focus on maintaining Reform UK’s credibility is essential to counter claims of extremism and build public trust. This never happens on regular mainstream news.

We Are the Coming Tsunami

We have all seen the spin doctors and propagandists on radio and BBC who focus on virtue signalling over reality. Most have had a go at Nigel Farage and have fallen short. Paul Thorpe shared Tommy Robinson’s message from prison, urging unity under Reform UK. Robinson’s epiphany seems selfless and it underscored the need to focus on common goals rather than division. I hope for a better country for our kids and our grandkids. Roll on 2029!

Farage’s Leadership Tightrope

And, yes, it has been the same for a quite some time! Nigel Farage, Anderson, Tice; everyone of them are on the frontline taking this political fight to our enemy. They have limitations, regularly avoiding traps set by opponents they might say or do things that are not as brazen as you might want but that is their arena. Nigel Farage gave us an opportunity with Brexit. Westminster still blame him for their complacency with making use of it. There are more years to keep promoting growth, Reform can happen if we choose, but what choices do we not have here? Whose party is it? Why can't people join? Where's the democracy?

Conclusion: The Need for Unity

UPDATE: Reform UK stands at a crossroads. Rupert Lowe, a well respected MP who described Reform as a propaganda party with no policies banged heads with Nigel Farage. He pointed out Reform's limited democracy under egocentric leadership. Either way, it's leader has continued to distance the party from controversial figures like Robinson or Katie Hopkins, but by suspending Rupert Lowe, he has angered many Reform UK members.

This infighting has struck people who share similar ideas for the countries future. Grassroots supporters might, one day, continue the movement with a different party if Reform fails to become more democratic, and appreciative of all their supporters.
